Beef lasagna


  • 1,5 kg lean mince
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 red pepper finely chopped
  • 10ml olive oil
  • 5ml paprika
  • 5ml barbecue spice
  • 5ml grounded coriander
  • 1 canned tomatoes
  • 12 lasagna sheets
  • Salt and pepper


For white sauce

  1. Melt the butter add flour, stir frequently with whisk to avoid lumps add milk and salt let it simmer till it’s smooth and thick.
  2. On the side boil the lasagna sheets for 4 to 5 minutes, drain the hot water immediately and add cold water. Put aside
  3. Brown the onion and pepper with olive oil, add paprika, coriander stir frequently add mince then barbecue spice, stir till the mince becomes brown then pour over canned tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper, let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes!
  4. Make layers of lasagna sheets, mince, white sauce and another later, last layer must be white sauce and grated cheddar cheese and bake for 20mins
